"This was a real good event with some great people and some nice places to visit.  This was a very positive experience with Warrior Weekend.  Thank you Warrior Weekend for supporting our wounded warriors and families."

"This was our first time in Baltimore and we as a family had so much fun.  This program was perfect for us during this holiday.  The hotel and aquarium were fabulous and the restaurants where we had dinner were great.  We had a great time and hope to be able to join on another trip.  Thank you for all that you do for the soldiers."

NAME:  CPT Elizabeth Malcolm

"My husband and I really enjoyed this R&R retreat; it was great to spend time together as a couple.  It was a wonderful opportunity to spend quality unstructured time along with the planned events.  We especially enjoyed going to the National Aquarium and walking along the boardwalk at the Inner Harbor.  Our room was very comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the fabulous meals that were provided for us.  I would recommend this weekend trip to other families and couples to be able to spend time together.  Thank you for providing this opportunity for my husband and I."

"Excellent weekend!  Ms. Melissa and her staff at the B&B were warm, friendly and very accommodating.  The rooms were very comfortable and relaxing.  The food at Nicola’s and the American Legion Post #5 was awesome. I think I gained 10 pounds this weekend.  It made me feel so proud when we walked into the American Legion Post #5 to a standing ovation.  The members of the post really know the meaning of selfless service and what it means to serve our great country.  The program gets an A+ in all categories!  Well Done!  Well Done!!"

NAME:  Sonja Scott

"The bed and breakfast was fantastic.  She went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable stay.  The Nicola’s lunch was great.  The ice cream treat was great to take the ice cream and walk along the beach.  The American Legion Post #5 hospitality and food was a gesture that was warm and heartfelt.  We were all invited back to the Post #5.  The drivers of the Warrior Weekend van were the best.  Thank you, thank you."

"Our stay at Melissa’s was very nice.  She made sure we all felt welcome and didn’t have any issues.  Dinner at the Legion Post #5 was amazing.  Everyone welcomed us all openly and warmly. My only suggestion would be to remember that relaxing isn’t something we get to do so get aways like this don’t need to be busy all the time.  Having the time to relax was great.  Thank you so much for everything we all had a great time."

"Really enjoyed coming to Philadelphia.  Seeing the Liberty Bell was great.  Going to the Phillies baseball game was great.  It would have been better if they had won.  Ed and Scott, our drivers, were most courteous.  The hotel was wonderful and don't forget Maggiano's Italian Restaurant.  What a meal!!. Thanks for the weekend"

"My weekend trip was amazing.  The choice of venue was family friendly and the kids enjoyed the aquarium.  Maggainos was a great dinner selection.  Sunday:  let me say this was my highlight.  The tour of the NFL Films Studios, the sponsors and guests who came in just for this event was breath taking.  On behalf of my family and me, we greatly appreciated this weekend.  (Awesome according to my 3 year old).  NFL Films did an excellent job.  I was in tears and we will definitely watch their show called “hardknocks”.   ED, Scott our drivers and family, thank you for hosting this weekend.  Appreciate what you guys are doing."

" This weekend was absolutely amazing.  The organizers were supportive, ensuring we had a relaxing weekend and we did.  From inception to our departure I was blown away by the Kingston Community.  To the American Legion members, you guys totally rock.  I was taken out of my comfort zone, which was much needed.  The community showed their love and support which brought tears.  Kingston, NY I am forever grateful for all you have done in making this weekend an unforgettable weekend.  Believe me, Jack, Buddy and Vince, were never a dull moment".

Amazing weekend, very attentive to all service member’s needs.  Activities and food were amazing!! Everyone was amazing!! Weather was chilly (out of anyone’s control).  Would have liked to have one more day to be able to relax and then activities could have been spread out.
Thank you for everything you did.  It was amazing and my whole family feels blessed.  There were amazing activities and people throughout the entire weekend.  The support given to myself, my husband and my son was priceless".

"
What an amazing weekend!  A tremendous group of people, who put in  a huge effort to allow us to have a great weekend in the New York countryside.  The entire experience from the ride to Kingston, boat ride on the Hudson, train ride into the country, breakfast at the American Legion and just hanging out with the whole crowd, we could not have asked for more.  They even went the extra mile and helped my wife and I celebrate our 2nd anniversary.  It was a great weekend with wonderful memories and great new friends.  The only thing that could have been better would have been to stay on extra day.  Thank you very much".
