Name: SERGANT DOUGLAS LEWIS "This was a great opportunity to hang out with great people. The best part is that we were not rushed and had full control on what we wanted to do. I wouldn't change a thing with this program. I would like to thank everyone that had a part in making this special "vacation" real for service members like myself. Thank you guys so much. Name: LTC AMBER MILLERCHIP "The trip was amazing!! It was wonderful to get out of the area with my family, especially to such a beautiful part of the U.S. Everyone in the organization is so kind and professional. They dedicate their time, effort and love to honor and care for us wounded. This is especially important for our family members to not only witness, but also experience as well, since they are in the trenches with us day to day. On behalf of the Millerchip family, thank you Warrior Weekend for everything you do. It matters!! It makes a difference and you are changing and impacting lives." Name: CW3 BRYON W. ELLISON "The experience with these men and women are magical and heartwarming. In these times of rough waters for us wounded soldiers, how nice it is to experience kindness such as this. Thank you for the good times, the memories and new friendships." |
Name: MAJOR RYAN VANGLE " Thank you to the Warrior Weekend organization so much for sponsoring our family trip to Rehoboth Beach. It was a genuine pleasure to meet you guys and spend time with everyone. We had a very relaxing and rewarding weekend, and it was a much needed break from medical rehabilitation and work commitments. My wife Mary and I especially enjoyed the dinner and dancing at the American Legion. That was our first time to enter an American Legion and we were very impressed with the honor guard salute, the friendliness of the embers and how much fun everyone was having with the food and the live band. Definitely recommend that you sustain that event in the future We also enjoyed the museum, the hotel, the beach and dining at some of the local establishments. Isabelle, our daughter, loved the pool, the sand and the food. She had a great time which made our weekend much more memorable. Please pass along our sincere thanks to the rest of the Warrior Weekend folks and a special thank you to Scott and Buddy for being so kind to our daughter Isabelle. Hope to see you guys again in the future." |

Name: SFC SAMUEL ORTIZ "The trip was phenomenal. The hosts and events were great. Being able to attend an event for wounded warriors with others in the same situation and get away from the military for a weekend is absolutely great. The fact that we were able to vote on the events instead of being told what the events were makes the events/weekend much more interesting and fun." Name: CW4 DONNETTE CLAY "I could not imagine a better way to celebrate Mother's Day than an impromptu trip with the family. Warrior Weekend ensured that my visit to the city of Baltimore was exciting, adventurous and fun. I met new people and I'm sure I made some lifelong friends. This experience will forever be embedded in my children's memory! Thank you Jim and Buddy for being gracious, funny and entertaining hosts. I would not ask for a better Mother's Day! Thank you!" Name: CW3 BYRON ELLISON "What a great weekend!! Thanks for the memories, laughs and good times. As always, we were met with kindness and concern with everywhere we went and all the activities we did. I will always cherish the time spent with you all. God Bless you and all that you do for us." |
Name: LTC AMBER MILLERSHIP "Warrior Weekend is committed to honoring America's Military Wounded, and as a wounded warrior, getting the chance to experience their dedication first hand, I feel they are 100% hitting the mark. My family and I had a wonderful weekend getting to relax, rest and bond with fellow wounded service members. It is a priceless gift and we are deeply appreciative of it. Everything is taken care of from beginning to end. We didn't have worry, stress, manage or execute any part of the vacation. To be able to get away from all of the stressors in our lives and be completely cared for truly is remarkable. Thank you for honoring us in such a splendid way. It's unforgettable!!" Name: MSGT BRENDA JOHNSON "Thank you Warrior Weekend.net. This mini get away brought my children and I closer together. This stress free environment allowed me to just relax from my day to day stressors with my recovery care. I also loved meeting with other wounded warriors because it is nice to know that we can share our experiences through our recovery to help each other. We are not alone. This weekend made us a priority." |

"The Philadelphia trip was wonderful. organizers The gave us a very warm reception. My family and I visited the Phillies office and got up close with the Phillies team. I went to a live baseball game for the first time. It gave me a passion for baseball. The organizers and team members have been very kind to me and my family. We had a wonderful and unforgettable weekend. Thank you for everything. Thank you to Scott, Garth and their wives. I was also lucky enough to receive an expensive Green Bay Packers helmet." Name: Sergeant First Class Linwood Pender "My spouse and I had a very fantastic weekend. All activities from the beginning to the end were amazing and well planned and we were fed very well. No one went hungry. I was in desperate need of a weekend getaway and rest as part of my healing process. There isn't anything I would have changed about this outing. I look forward to future adventures and interactions with the Warrior Weekend Program. Awesome job, and thanks to each of you including wives for their friendly and chipper spirit. We can't thank you enough for a job well done." Name: Specialists Nasir Williams "The trip was amazing. The staff was very friendly and showed initiative to handle any issues that would arise. The cheese steak place (Pat's) was nice considering we stayed at the Phillies game. Ultimately, thank you guys, this will be an experience me and everyone else who participated in your trip will never forget! Again, thank you!" |

"It was an amazing weekend. We had the chance to see and experience many things. The hotel was very accommodating. All the activities were amazing and well planned. I feel so privileged to have visited the NFL Studios. We were told that they are not open to the public, we were so lucky. It was an amazing weekend but the most amazing part was the warmth and care demonstrated by the volunteers in the program. I thank you very much from the bottom of my heart." Name: Staff Sergeant Nathan Bryant "Wow!!! Phillies game from one of the players suites on the infield along the first base line after a tour of the stadium, stepping onto the field and shaking hands with a player! Tour of NFL Films studios! An authentic helmet! Great food all weekend! That downtown Marriott was amazing! The 23rd floor view or maybe the 18th was amazing! Reading Station Market, Macy's and the Downtown views. The City of Brotherly Love. That moniker exemplifies my mood for that entire weekend. As nice as all of that was, the most beautiful of it all was the blankets!!! Handing out those handmade blankets was the icing and the cake for me. I'm thankful to have been a small part of that what an awesome introduction to the Warrior Weekend Program. Thank you so very much. |

We enjoyed everything, from dinner to breakfast and everything in between. Thank you for making it easier when life seems so hard. The grandkids also had a wonderful time. Thanks for being such phenomenal hosts in this program. You went above and beyond ensuring that we smile, laugh and have a great time, and that we did. I am touched and grateful. Thanks again to all who had a part in this. THANK YOU!!!" Name: Sergeant Rosa Dispennette "Thank you for the amazing weekend!! "The restaurant choice was a great choice. The food was superb. Scott and his team were very accommodating and hospitable upon arrival at the hotel and going over the plan for dinner and the weekend events. The hotel and hotel location was a perfect combination. The hotel accommodations were more than expected. We are truly appreciative of the wonderful, memorable weekend we had with the Warrior Weekend Program. We met great people who genuinely care for our nation's ill and wounded military. Thank you so much to everyone who made this weekend happen for us." Name: Marine James Coleman "A great weekend trip!!! Starting on Thursday a great deal of time was provided for exploring prior to the weekend rush. The dinner provided time for everyone to become familiar with the staff and fellow service members. All went according to plan. The fast track was very beneficial as well. A great trip and a great opportunity; thanks for everything!" |

"Awesome! Great locations (hotel, restaurants, etc.). Chincoteague is "quaint" and the perfect small beach town for a relaxing get-away. Special thanks to Captain Carlton and Daisey Cruises. The boat ride, time of day - beautiful. Seeing the sunset on the horizon from the water was great. Special thanks also to the dolphins for showing up! Although we missed the wild horses, we did stop on Assateague Island for not only the beautiful views, but we managed to procure some very nice seashells! My Princess loved it all and that is what meant the most to me. None of this would have worked out as it did without Tom, Karen and Buddy. My thanks is beyond words to each of you and the Warrior Weekend Program. Thank you, so much!!! Ready for the next one! Name: Sergeant Karen Castoria "You all were awesome. I enjoyed the trip. Thank you for allowing my service dog to come with me. I will always recommend others to go on trips with you guys," |
Name: Master Sergeant Brenda Johnson
"I would like to extend my gratitude to all those who participate with Warrior Weekend because this is one event that I look forward to. My daughter and I enjoyed every bit of the time spent. This is our second time and, as expected, it was another great adventure. I was able to relax, get good sleep and most of all be in the presence of great human beings. The dolphin watch excursion was by far the best. Make sure this is in every trip here. Buddy and Tom were by far an awesome pair and Ms. Karen...Love her!! All three work well with one another. Buddy, know that you are covered with my prayers. Love you! Name: Staff Sergeant Michael Early "Four days was great giving more time to enjoy. The food was amazing. The staff was excellent. Getting on the beach was very theraputic. Getting ice cream was a nice treat. The hotel was very nice. Thank you for an amazing trip. We had a blast and I look forward to the next time." |

"I am very thankful for what the American Legion Auxiliary did for my wife and me during this Warrior Weekend. Transportation was provided from Fort Belvoir to Rehoboth Beach, DE. My wife and I feel very blessed to have participated in this Warrior Weekend because we enjoyed the hotel, the concert, the Air Mobility Command Museum, the food and above all the company of the wholehearted men and women who volunteered to make this program possible. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting the men and women who sacrifice their lives to defend freedom, justice, equality and all the pretty sounding words that make America what it is all about. Thank you! NAME: MIGUEL TAVERAS "First I want to say Thank You for the experience and the impact this weekend had in my life. As a soldier I know there is no price that would ever match the love and gratitude given by everyone that made this weekend a possibility. This weekend made me feel how much our country values us as soldiers and it felt amazing to feel that admiration from our country. The shows and accommodations were perfect. The team that spent the weekend with us are grateful Americans and amazing people. It is wonderful to be around people that are proud of the sacrifices and commitment we as soldiers have made for the people of our country. Red, White, Blue!!!! To Buddy, Paul, Scott, Sam and Kellie thank you for a perfect weekend. LOVED THE ELVIS SHOW!" |

"My wife and I and our son Joshua had an amazing experience during this trip. We were made to feel very welcomed and a part of the community. I would highly recommend continuing this program. Many of the wounded warriors need a morale boost, and this is the place to fine that. Despite all the events I’ve attended and the great experiences my wife and I‘ve had, this experience was so unique. It took away all the stress and we enjoyed every event of the weekend we attended. My family and I are thankful, as well as the other warriors that joined us. Thank you for everything you do for us, and if we’re still here, at Fort Belvoir, next year, we’ll definitely come again." NAME: ELENA BERTRAND "Amazing weekend as always! We truly appreciate everything that you all do for not only for our family, but for every family you impact. You always leave an everlasting memory! We look forward to many years ahead. Thank you for always treating us special and going above and beyond." NAME SAMUEL ORTIZ "Everything about the weekend was great. The only recommendation I would have is to have an extra wheelchair in the back of the van. This is important so people with canes can enjoy a bit more with less walking." |
