"We had an amazing time!!! From the moment we arrived at the beautiful hotel, The Boardwalk Plaza, the warm greeting from Karen and Jim and the entire Warrior Weekend Group, reset and recharged ourselves. Not only did this trip allow our soldiers to do this, it allowed the entire family also. We are forever indebted to every volunteer who took the time out to make us feel so blessed. We are forever grateful to the people who gave so freely for this to happen. Thank you. God Bless you, and please keep up the great, selfless work that you do. IT IS APPRECIATED!!" We loved our get together as a family. Everybody was very friendly. We had great conversations and we laughed a lot. The places that were recommended were amazing!! The beach and Fort Miles were our favorite. If you asked the children what their favorite was and without a doubt, they would say Lefty's. Again, THANK YOU!, THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" |

"Thank you for an incredible long weekend. It was amazing! It was amazing to enjoy the luxury with my family and dad. The Warrior Weekend group were so nice, and the Italian food place was delicious. Lefty's was fun but we were not able to do the ax throwing because they were filled up throughout the weekend. Maybe next time a few time slots could be reserved for the group. Overall, this was our first trip to Delaware and definitely will not be our last. Thank you again and hope to join the group again in the future. We live in Buffalo, NY. "WOW! This weekend was everything that my family needed. Your organization has thought of each aspect and covered it in full. The welcome packet allowed us to manage expectations and plan what we wanted to do. We were in communications early to answer any questions. The timeline was fantastic! Thursday arrival allowed us to decompress and relax. Only having the cruise and dinner scheduled made for a relaxing weekend, but gave enough structure an community. This was perfect. Thank you. I can not say enough. My family needed something like this for months and I know my team is in the same situation. "I had such an amazing weekend in Philly. Jim and Joe were so kind, inviting and gracious. It was really nice to visit a new city and meet other service members. The first day I was here we took a bus tour of Philly. I sat near Joe and he shared so many cool insights about the city and gave suggestions on places to visit and sights to see despite the rain. I had a great time! Later that night we had dinner with the whole group and shared stories, reminisced and enjoyed being together. It was a lot of fun, an after several months of isolation because of COVID, I really enjoyed the opportunity to get out and meet new people. I'm so grateful to the entire Warrior Weekend team for making this weekend possible! Special thanks to Jim and Joe for everything. I really appreciate it!" "The special things that took place for the wounded warriors and families. 1. Jim and Joe kept in touch for our ETS and met us outside when we arrived. 2. Had good knowledge of the area to help. 3. Both Jim and Joe on this trip have made us feel more appreciated for what we have been going through. They have reminded us of why we have served in the first place. Thank You!" It was a great time of relaxing and spending time bonding with other wounded warriors and their families. The only improvement I have is time and location of changed from the paperwork . This caused a small amount of confusion for those of us with bad memories. All in all, my daughter and I had a great time and were blessed by the chance to go on this trip." |

"Great getaway with family. Great location with lots of things to do near by. The room was spacious and comfortable. Pool was cool but hot tub was relaxing. The park was very enjoyable and the AACA Museum was amazing. Thank you for a great weekend getaway with my daughter. This is a weekend we will never forget. Dinner was terrific and was a good time at the Englewood." Name: SFC Robert Coe "My family and I had a fantastic time and are grateful for the experience that the Warrior Weekend Program and staff has given us. The trip to the hotel and their staff was considerate and welcoming along with Garth and Scott. They were very helpful and kind in which they went over some of the restaurants in the nearby area, a rundown of everything that is available, and what other activities that we could do as well. Friday my family and I spent the whole day at Hershey Park riding almost every ride that they had and I was ble to see my family smile and forget about the stressors back home. Saturday my family went to the park again for a couple of rides and then went to Chocolate World in which again my family had many smiles at the tour, the enlarged candies, and everything else that was offered. We had to turn in early Saturday, but we still had a great time. Sunday, we were able to get into the museum that was located next to the hotel and was amazed at some of the beauties that were in there. There were many trucks that my family stopped to look at and there was even a scavenger hunt in the train display that they had. Overall, we are again grateful for everything that was offered to us and will not forget the great time that we had." |

Name: SFC Derrell Riddick "Pros: Structure of activities and communication was very good, during and before each event we were texted the plan for the events. Hotel accommodations were seemless with checking in. Restaurants were very accommodating. We did not have to wait for seating. The boat ride was totally awesome which provided history of the island. I personally feel the exposure to a hidden gem of the location and the community helps me to feel the support as a vet/service member. Maybe options for kid's activities and if there is any control of the timing for dinner having it before 6 pm (only if the option is available)." |

"The hotel arrangements made for my family and I were amazing. They made our stay wonderful with any help we needed and questions answered. Victoria's food and staff have 5 stars from us! Time efficient and delicious! Hats off to the chef! The itinerary was perfect being able to sleep in then participate with our group later in the day was amazing. I wouldn't change anything with the activities. Everything was perfect and family oriented. To be a family of 6 and the kids were with us, couldn't have been more comfortable than we already were! My family and I are grateful for being able to come on the trip at the last minute. Nothing made us uncomfortable. I can't wait to see you again soon!
